Join us for our annual Tu B’Shvat Seder and the kickoff of our climate change letter-writing campaign. Gather up some fruits and nuts, pour a glass of sherry, and be part of a Zoom evening with Rabbi Gilah and Hazzan Ramón. We’ll be making our way through the “four mystical worlds” of fruits and nuts, singing songs of the earth and sky. Then we’ll be guided by Rabbi Devora Lynn to write letters to our Maryland Representatives and Senators on a particular legislative priority — this month, saving the Tongass National Forest. Jewish Earth Alliance will provide us with the template and background information, and we’ll write together and shmooze. Seder starts at 7 pm, the letter-writing begins around 7:30. Zoom links will be available in our e-newsletter, or by request to our coordinator Janet Braun at firstname.lastname@example.org.
