Join us online for a delightful musical tour of Italy through the lens of Jewish melodies, led by Hazzan Dr. Ramón Tasat, Artistic Director of Kolot HaLev, the Shirat HaNefesh Choir-in-Residence. His research has unearthed many of these rarely heard musical treasures which originated in Jewish communities (Florence, Livorno, Rome and Venice) or were composed by musicians such as Gioachino Rossini, Federico Consolo, Michelle Bolaffi, and Benedetto Marcello. In addition to liturgical music, examples from opera and popular song will be on the itinerary. Some musical examples will be excerpted from past Kolot HaLev performances.

Registration is required.  Minimum contribution to attend is $20.
After registering, you will receive an email from PayPal with a receipt and an email from Kolot HaLev with the Zoom link.
