High Holiday Services at our Synagogue


You can register online using EventBrite and CHARGE your payment or download an order form and mail it to us with your CHECK.

Spend the High Holidays with our independent synagogue community. Services are held in the beautiful stained-glass-filled sanctuary and are led by our extraordinary cantor, Hazzan Dr. Ramón Tasat, and with Rabbi Gilah Langner on the 2nd day of Rosh Hashanah. Our services feature beautiful music accompanied by our Instrumental Ensemble. Child care is available upon request in advance, for a modest fee.  It will truly be a blessing to mark the New Year together.  Spread the word — download our flyer.

Registration is needed for the four adult services: Erev Rosh Hashanah; Rosh Hashanah 1st Day; Kol Nidre; Yom Kippur Morning.

We also ask that you register for Selihot (see below for details), Children’s services, Tashlich, Rosh Hashanah 2nd day; and Yom Kippur afternoon.

Join our community in marking the end of Yamim Noraim, Saturday, September 30th at 7:45 pm in the Community Room for our joyous Break-the-Fast pot-luck. Signup to attend the Break-Fast and indicate what dish you will bring to share. Your contributions help us all celebrate.

    • Please arrive by 6:10 — doors will be closed during the “Kol Nidre” prayer.
  • Yom Kippur, Saturday, September 30
    • 9 am Adult Services
    • Children’s Services (in the Community Room)
      • 10:00 – 10:45 am — ages 7 to 12
      • 11:00 – 11:45 am — ages 12 to 20
    • 2-4 pm – Break (time is approximate)
    • 4 pm Afternoon Services
      • Minhah, Yizkor, Neilah
      • Final shofar blast, Havdalah

Full members of Shirat HaNefesh, dependent children and college students may attend at no cost. Registration for associate members, guests and non-members of Shirat HaNefesh is available for a suggested donation of $225 per adult (but no one is turned away — please make a meaningful contribution within your means to help us underwrite the costs of providing these services).
